What’s On at the Quay & Surrounds

There is never a dull moment at Elizabeth Quay and residents of The Towers are perfectly located to experience the best of Perth.

Immerse yourself in the Ephemeral Oceanic at the Quay (daily between April 5th – 25th), featuring 150 large illuminated ‘bubbles’ floating in the water, on land and in the air. A truly magical sight, which is brought to life with a soundscape visualiser, to deliver an enchanting event in the precinct.

Alternatively, residents can explore the Markets at the Quay, which showcases the local talent and handcrafted goods, on a regular basis from April until November. Take a leisurely stroll around the water’s edge, browsing the assortment of stalls, with the sweet sounds of live music, and a range of activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Also nearby is Council House, where visitors can view the rare private art collections that have documented Perth’s evolution, at the ‘Another Time, Another Perth’ exhibition. The exclusive event is just one of the many highlights of the Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival, demonstrating the rich history of our amazing city.

If you are after something to get your heart rate up, then look no further than the WA Rowing Club, which is located right next door to the Quay. The club offers training for rowers of all abilities from newbies right through to Australian representatives. Entry-level attendees can undertake a ‘Learn to Row’ course three days per week, which will equip them with the basic skills required to apply for a regular membership.

So there is literally something for everyone to enjoy!
