Fit For Life
Nothing beats the feeling after a good workout and it sure helps to keep off the kilos or wind down after a busy day at work. Whether you want to take advantage of the facilities at The Towers, or around the Quay, there are countless ways to stay active on any budget.
The Towers
Residents of The Towers at Elizabeth Quay can enjoy exclusive access to the premium amenities, including a heated pool, to swim laps at any time of the year. Alternatively, if you are more of a gym buff, you can work up a sweat doing your daily cardio or weights session, all without leaving the building.
Elizabeth Quay and the Swan River
Start your walk, jog or ride from Elizabeth Quay, to soak up the beautiful environment that surrounds The Towers and along the river. If you are really keen, you can do the 10 km Swan River loop that takes you past Riverside Drive, South Perth Foreshore, across the Causeway Bridges and back to Elizabeth Quay.
Health Clubs
If you prefer to work out in a supervised gym with expert guidance or would like to meet new people in a group fitness class, there are plenty of health clubs located a short distance from The Towers. Choose from leading providers such as Goodlife Health Club, Snap Fitness or Surge Fitness to reach all of your exercise goals.
Jacob’s Ladder
Take in the glorious city views as the sun rises or sets while you tackle the punishing 242 steps at Jacob’s Ladder at Kings Park. The twisting staircase has been a favourite for Perth residents for many years and rises 135 feet from the top of Cliff Street to Mount’s Bay Road. It’s a quick walk from Elizabeth Quay or you can catch the free Blue CAT bus directly there and save your energy for the stairs.
